Actually, the made of this jelly pudding was just a coincidence. My mom bought a lot of mangoes since the mango fruit season has come up this past few weeks. Then, I found the last mango that was almost over ripen. Nothing to do at home, I decided to make an experiment with mango jelly and plain agar.
What you need:
10 gr of mango jelly powder
40 gr of sugar
400 ml of water
---
1 mango, blended, then add water until it reaches 1 liter of amount
7 gr of plain agar powder
20 ml of milk
Sugar
Steps:
1. Mix the mango jelly powder, sugar, and water. Cook until boil.
2. Pour into a 27x20x1 cm of tin pan. Let it set.
3. Cut the jelly using knife, approx. 1x3 cm. Set aside.
4. Mix the plain agar powder with mango puree, milk and sufficient amount of sugar (here I used 100 gr). Cook until boil.
5. Pour the mixture into the mold. Then, pour the cut mango jelly. Let it cool.
6. Last but not least, put it in the refridge :)
*actually, the amount of the sugar needed to make the mango pudding depends on the sweetness of the mango itself. Make sure that the sugar is not too over or less.
*do not forget to stir the mixture while it is cooked.
